Coffee table
The last vestige of the family home and its fully fitted living room is this coffee table. Built by my father-in-law in the 1970s in the modernist style and revarnished because of an accidental whisky spillage, it was usually laden with sweet, fruit, and copies of Brighton’s free sheets.

I wondered what the coffee table image would look like as a black and white 1970s-style advertisment. It is shown here together with experiments in the form of contact sheets that used lithographic tape, blocking light in the photographic darkroom.
